Venator Trading and Finance Limited (VTF) works both independently and in conjunction with Venator Risk Management Limited (VRM) to help clients find appropriate finance for their plans to expand in riskier markets, VRM being the key to controlling and mitigating that risk.

VTF leverage their global network to assist clients in funding new business at home and abroad, providing new sales opportunities, new supply channels, new markets and new strategic opportunities.

The management of VTF have over 100 years combined experience working within the banking and financial sectors. We are involved in a cross section of financial services, both institutional and private.

VTF offers long-standing knowledge, specialist expertise and a global network that can enable clients an opportunity to obtain specialist, niche funding as required.

Each proposal will be assessed on a case by case basis. VTF are willing to look at higher risk situations where VRM services mitigate and manage such risk.

Funding Existing and New Trade

VTF management have many decades of combined experience, working in both developed and emerging markets. We have established relationships that provide flexible trade financing from both traditional and non-traditional financiers.

Whether you are an importer, exporter, producer, or financial institution, managing risk effectively is one of the key factors in the ability to obtain the necessary finance to grow into new markets.

VTF management have the technical expertise and experience of trade structures and specific trade instruments, together with enhanced due diligence and governance, to enable introductions to the most competitive financing in all markets. Such finance may include:

Freeing Up Working Capital

Releasing capital to create new working capital to improve cashflow can be a major factor in providing trading businesses an opportunity to grow. VTF is here to develop a range of banking and business partnerships that will enable injections of capital tailored for each client’s requirements:

Stock Financing. Capital tied up in stock, or other inventory, provides an opportunity for cash to be released for working capital to expand into new markets by using the stock as collateral.

Equipment and infrastructure, such as renewable energy installations, CNG generation plant, water infrastructure, fertiliser blending facilities, climate-controlled warehousing, specialist equipment and machinery, irrigation and bio-fuel production, have the potential to increase your production and capacity utilisation and thus improve efficiency and profitability.

Operating Leases. You enjoy the full benefits of the latest technology and equipment – preserving working capital – while not being subject to the risks and costs of ownership. Single monthly (tax deductible) payments.

Sale and Leaseback. You may wish to raise capital by a sale and leaseback arrangement for your assets over an agreed term. You will continue to use your assets without disruption.

Development finance. Loans and other structured finance to invest in improving production, downstream processing or even lower cost energy generation

VTF management and associates have long-term experience working in all areas of banking and financial services world-wide and put that expertise to work for emerging market opportunities.

We work closely with banks, sovereign and private funds, DFI’s, Impact Funds, FinTech, Export Banks, and other Trading Houses.

Our aim is to achieve tailored solutions for clients, whether the proposed transaction is in a developed economy, an economy in transition, a developing economy, or in the least developed countries where any form of credit is virtually impossible, but where our associated company, VRM, provides the risk mitigation services needed by our financiers to achieve your desired goals.

How We Do It

We will require full details of your funding requirements to build a viable business plan. We work in conjunction with VRM, who will need to visit all facilities to carry out due diligence, risk assessment and preparatory work prior to offering a tailored Risk Management Plan (RMP) to achieve your plans to expand.
